MedTouch President Named 40 Under 40 Honoree by Boston Business Journal
Cambridge, MA -- (October 17, 2005) – The October 7th edition of the Boston Business Journal named Peter Vessenes, founder and President of MedTouch, a Cambridge-based firm, one of its 40 Under 40 honorees for 2005, its eighth annual program of recognizing emerging business leaders in Greater Boston.
"Boston's competitive advantage is its collective brainpower," said Michael Olivieri, Publisher of the Boston Business Journal. "Our 40 Under 40 class reflects the deep talent pool that gives Boston its economic edge. This year's honorees come from a broad spectrum in the Boston business community and represent the talent and commitment that helps drive the regional economy."
A serial entrepreneur and the principal architect behind the rich-featured, highly customizable MedTouch technology solutions, Vessenes has founded four companies since he was thirteen and lends his technology vision and expertise to clients as well as his companies. MedTouch provides customer-facing web solutions for hospitals and healthcare organizations, and partners with CIO/CTOs and marketing departments to deliver full web site implementations including architecture planning, design and content development.
Building on his experience creating Internet-based data management systems, Vessenes has developed scalable software packages for permission-based marketing, content management, e-commerce, and web analytics. Prior to founding MedTouch, the dynamic thirty-year old served as a financial-sector technology and strategy consultant for The Mitchell-Madison Group. He holds a degree in theoretical mathematics and cryptology from Brown University.
Vessenes is a husband and father of two, an active member and leader at the Vineyard Christian Fellowship of Cambridge and a mentor to local college students as well as students from his alma mater on issues concerning money and character. Vessenes donates to various causes and hopes to one day start a charitable foundation with his wife. About MedTouch MedTouch delivers web intelligence for health care.
